Tanya, a kind-hearted dreamer and music lover, moves in with her new boyfriend Samuel, a controlling NYC music producer, believing it will help her DJ dreams. Cut off from friends and family for two years, Tanya finally attends her best friend Michelle’s engagement party, where she reunites with Michelle and college friend Taj, who encourages her to DJ. When Tanya defies Samuel’s demands to leave the party, he shows up unannounced and forces her to leave in fear. His rage escalates into a reckless drive that nearly ends in tragedy, giving Tanya a chance to escape.
