We open on a house. Large in scale but warm in feel. A young couple parks in front. The couple enters the house, hands clasped tightly together. While dancing in a loving embrace, a strange look appears on the young woman’s face, unbeknownst to the man. She stares off into the dining room area lost in thought and emotion. The scene transitions to the dining room fully where a new couple, slightly more mature, experience parallel existences. Love is still there, but this definitely not the honeymoon phase anymore. As the 2nd couple sits on the staircase huddled together in a melancholic posture, a third couple enters the house. This third couple converses about their recent breakup over a game of chess. During the game, both people flashback to the various moments in their relationship. Some happy, some potentially foreshadowing. This is a house of hearts. Some full, some broken.
