A weary Black mailman and his fractured family are turned upside down when they reluctantly take in a troubled white teenager, Foster, forcing them to confront their own dysfunction while trying to save a kid who might just end up saving them too.  Set against the backdrop of Georgia’s rich cultural and social landscape, their saga unfolds through trials and triumphs, as they discover the true meaning of family-- where bonds are not defined by blood but by love, resilience, and the shared journeys of life.

After a botched robbery leaves Foster abandoned in his care, Mike is forced to take the kid to CPS himself after a pair of disinterested cops refuse to do their jobs.  But that evening, a tragedy unfolds that forces Mike to confront his own buried baggage and reexamine what it means to be part of a family. Torn between guilt and empathy—and already under the emotional weight of a strained marriage—Mike makes the difficult, life-altering decision to take Foster in, setting his already fragile, blended Black family on a path toward a foreseeable breakdown-- Leading to the question:

Can Mailman Mike keep his middle-class, black blended family from Going Postal?
