The latest Este²M Builders project, STEM Roots, follows students through the genetic engineering process from a STEM, confidence building and family engagement perspective. In addition to project based learning activities in DNA collection and analysis, the actual scientific process as well as the student/family perspective will be highlighted. This documentary serves as an innovative pathway for comparing information assumed about heritage with the reality of African Diaspora exploration and discovery through STEM.
